Directions to the GAUNTLET at Pickering Wharf Marina in Salem, MA:

Pickering Wharf Marina

23 Congress St.

Salem, MA 01970

From the North: Take Route 128 South to Exit 25A, Route 114 East.

From the South: Take Route 128 North to Exit 25A, Route 114 East. Note - Rt 95 and Rt 128 split on the North shore - the exit is off Rt 128 after the Gloucester split.

Local Directions: Follow Route 114 East to Salem. You will pass a Hess Gas Station on your left and immediately thereafter you go over a bridge.  This road becomes North Street.  You will go through one set of lights (Jerry's Army-Navy store will be on your left).  At the next intersection, take a left onto Norman Street.  Follow this through a set of lights at the next intersection (the post office will be on your right and RT 114 East will follow to the right).  Go straight (do not follow 114) through this intersection onto New Derby St.  You will come to another set of lights (the fire station is on your left); go straight through this intersection.  This turns into Derby St.  You will pass the Salem Beer Works restaurant and the Salem Pirate Museum on your left as you drive down this road.  You will come to a 4-way stop at the intersection of Derby and Hawthorne/Congress St.  An Eastern Bank is on the right.

To find the GAUNTLET in the SUMMER location within the marina: Take a right at the intersection onto Congress Street.  Take your first left into the Eastern Bank parking lot.  Take your first right into a smaller lot adjacent to the bank parking lot.  You will see the South Basin of the marina and a ramp leading down on the left.  The boat is at the bottom of the ramp.

To find the GAUNTLET in the WINTER location within the marina: Go straight through the intersection staying on Derby St and take your first right into Pickering Wharf Marina loop.  There are no signs, but you are taking the first right after the intersection.  A yellow building sits on the corner with a sign that reads "Peter D Barter."  Turn here.  You'll probably also pass a black hearse on your left - it's Salem after all.  Follow the loop around to Victoria Station restaurant.  You will also see signs for "Capt'n" restaurant.  The boat is in a slip directly in front of Victoria Station (use the access ramp to the left).  Gear can then be transported to the boat via cart.

For parking, from the loop follow back to the intersection of Derby St and Congress St (Eastern Bank is on the left corner).  Take a left onto Congress St.  Follow past the Grapevine restaurant and over the bridge.  Marina parking is in a large lot on the right.  To return to the marina, cross the street and walk through the Eastern Bank parking lot.  This will bring you back to the marina loop.
