Andrea Doria

The Andrea Doria has become one of the most famous shipwrecks in diving.  While its reputation as the "Mt. Everest of diving" no longer applies given the numerous deeper and more challenging wrecks available to the diver today, one thing is still true of the Andrea Doria: this wreck makes or breaks divers.  For some, diving the wreck is the first step through the gateway that opens into the arena of world class deep wreck diving.  For others, it is the pinnacle of a diving career and sadly for some, it's the end.
