Wreck and Cave Dive Reels
For any diver diving in limited visibility, caves, debris fields or inside of wrecks, a guideline is essential. We carry Underwater Connection reels because they are the best reels available for wreck or cave diving!

Explorer, Primary, Safety and Gap reels are pictured. Reels are available with a side handle configuration.
Large hand knobs make operating the reel easy with bulky mitts or in cold water.
Explorer reel is recommended for the cave or wreck diver who ventures considerable distances in or on wrecks and in sand/debris fields or the cave diver exploring virgin caves. This reel has the most line but is the heaviest and largest.
Primary reel is recommended for cave divers for laying the primary guide line into a system to meet up with the mainline. Wreck divers also find this reel convenient for most uses due to it's manageable size.
Cavern/Safety reel is suggested for wreck divers and cave divers alike and is most appropriate as a back-up reel for ascents with midwater lift bag deployment, lost diver searches in caves or on wrecks. This reel is essential for all divers-- recreational or technical.
Gap/Jump reel is recommend for cave divers laying gaps or making jumps inside cave systems. This reel is generally not used for wreck diving.

Reels are right-handed spool as a standard. Left-handed spool reels are available at no extra charge, but usually need to be ordered.
